Frequently asked questions
Most single strand extensions are made of synthetic polyester. They have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin. Those come in a variety of lenghts, thicknesses & curves.
Faux Mink are the most natural extensions you can get. They are very thin & used for volume sets.
Depending on your natural lash and your lash goal we will find the right extensions for you!
Please remove all eye make up. If you have mascara on I will have to remove it and this will leave me less time for the application of extensions.
If you wear contact lenses, kindly remove them prior your appointment.
Be assured that your own lashes will not be damaged. Each extensions or fan is applied to one single natural lash with a special adhesive that is exclusively reserved for lash extensions. They will grow out naturally as your own lash matures.
1.5hr for new Classic & Hybrid sets.
1hr fills for Classic extensions & 1.15hr for Hybrid fills
2hrs for a new Volume set, 1.5hr for fills
It is essential to get regular fills every 2 - 3 weeks to keep the desired density. Did you know that we shed up to 5 lashes a day?
It is important to follow these recommendations in order to keep your extensions looking fabulous!
For the first 24hrs do not swim or use a sauna, steam bath or hot tub
Don't do hot yoga, do not pull or rub your lashes, no mascara and avoid sleeping on your face!
Avoid using oil-based products around or near your eyes
NEVER use waterproof mascara
Never! If you try to remove your extensions without the proper adhesive remover you will probably pull out or damage your own natural lashes. I strongly recommend to have a certified lash technician remove them.
Say bye bye to your lash curler! Elleebana LashLift is a new eyelash enhancement procedure that offers an amazing curl and lift for natural lashes. This procedure is done with flexible silicone shields to get right to the lash root, creating a long-lasting beautiful lift.
The application takes 45min, 60min with a lash tint.
A LashLift last up to 4-6 weeks and is safe for your eyes and natural lashes.
You can even wear your favorit mascara or lash serum after the procedure!!
Microblading is a manual method of implanting pigment in your skin with disposable needles mimicking your own brow hair. It is also known as brow feathering or 3D Brows. This semi-permanent technique will last 1-3 years. A regular touch up (once a year) is recommended to keep a crisp & fresh look.
Healed results will vary with each individual client and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. I have no control over what occurs during the healing process.
Absolutely NO guarantee will be made and additional sessions may be required to obtain optimal results. Additional charges will apply.
You should NOT consider this procedure if you experience ANY of the following conditions:
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Diabetic (Dr's clearance needed)
Chemotherapy (consult your Doctor)
History of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring around your eyes
Viral infections or/and deseases
Epilepsy
Sick (cold, flu, etc..)
Botox in the past 2 weeks
Acutane in the past 12 month
Any treatment, medication or illness that compromises the immune system
Your comfort is very important to me. I will apply a topical anesthetic before and during the procedure to numb the area.
I even had a handful of clients falling asleep during the procedure!!
It is a 2 step process: the initial procedure will take about 1.5 to 2hrs. After your consultation we will choose a colour tone and I will draw and outline the area. Once you are satisfied with the basic shape I will apply anesthetic and start the application.
A second visit (1hr +) 6-8 weeks later is highly recommended and included in the initial price.
At this point we will be able to do any adjustment in shape or colour.
Absolutely! I use iron oxyde pigments. These pigments fade over time as your body will naturally absorb it. they are considered the safest permanent pigments.
Every needle is single-use only and all supplies and material I use during each appointment are disposed off after every client. Gloves and mask are worn & disposed off after each client
It is important to understand that oily skin clients may require more follow-ups. Because the colour pigment is embedded into the derma during microblading process all skin types heal with different results. The more oily the skin the harder it is for standard pigment to set while healing.

You will be sent home with after care product & instructions. It is very important to follow those instructions to ensure the best result possible. At first your brows will appear intense & darker. Your might see swelling and redness. Your brows will fade 30-50% over the next weeks.
You may take Tylenol to relieve any pain after the procedure
Always wash your hands before touching the treated area to avoid infections
No vigorous exercise for 1 week after procedure. Sweat will promote loss of colour, avoid hot yoga, swimming and sauna
No tanning or exfoliating the area until your brows are completely healed
If you plan to go on vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip for a minimum of 14 days after the procedure. Sun exposure will significantly fade a new tattoo

Clients with oily skin should consider Nano Brows procedure ( see FAQ Nano Brows)
Also known as micro pigmentation, nano brows are created with one single needle and a permanent makeup device.Similar to a conventional tattoo ( but not near as painful !)
the device is used to provide controlled movement as it dispenses pigment into the skin.
Although both procedure give a similar result there are a few differences:
Nano brows involves less trauma to the skin
Nano needles offer a more crisp result with less risks of the pigments being implanted too deep.
If you want the look of more solid brows then Nano blading & shading is your best choice!
Clients with oily skin will have greater results with Nano blading & shading.
There are different brow procedure styles and I will help you to find the one that suits you the best!

It depends on your pain threshold. Like microblading, it will hurt more than your traditional waxing but I always make sure that you are comfortable and numb you before & while blading your brows.
